Lusaka Salsa Ltd. is a distinguished Dance Company specializing in Latin dances, recreation, art, creativity, events, and entertainment. We foster a diverse community of students, maintaining a welcoming and friendly environment.

We offers Dance Lessons in Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata, Merengue, Zambian Traditional Dances, Hip-hop, Rumba, Break dance afro and various other dance forms. Additionally, Lusaka Salsa Ltd. hosts Dance Festivals and Salsa Social Nights.

Founding Date: August 15, 2023

Founders and Leadership: Founded by Laureen Mweetwa and Melody Changwe. Current leadership includes Mweetwa Laureen as the Director, with a team of dedicated dance instructors managing Lusaka Salsa Ltd.

Brief Background of the Instructor/Co-Founder

Mweetwa Laureen, a University of Zambia graduate with Bachelor of Arts Degree, co-founded Lusaka Salsa Ltd. Her extensive experience includes being a dance instructor at UNZA Salsa dance studio, treasurer for UNZA Salsa Dance Studio, and recipient of the Best Female Dancer award at the University of Zambia sports and recreation Council award ceremony in 2011. Was once a Zambia Salsa Dance Competition participant in 2011. Laureen currently conducts Salsa and Kizomba dance lessons at Alliance Française de Lusaka and The Urban Hotel Lusaka under the banner of Lusaka Salsa Ltd.
