Three nights of outrageous, style driven, made up mayhem. Come and celebrate 30 years of outstanding improv as Cape Town's award winning Improv troupe take on, and reinterpret theatre, movie and TV styles.
Thursday 11 April - "Off the ruffled cuff", a nod to the bard with a totally improvised Shakespeare. Improvised monologues, asides, unrequited love, power struggles, jealousies, betrayal and probably lots of death and killing will be in the heady mix of thee, thou and iambic pentameter. The Improguise troupe of players will use audience suggestions to create a Shakespearean masterpiece from scratch, blending comedy, tragedy, and romance .From star-crossed lovers to scheming dukes, ghostly apparitions or vengeful kings and queens, our performance pays homage to the Elizabethan era with witty repartee, oodles of charm, a hint of betrayal and a lyrical sonnet, song or rhyming couplet thrown in for good measure.
Friday the 12 April- Murder they Improvised- Enter the thrilling world of the Murder Mystery where Cluedo and Agatha Christie collide improv style. Never mind whodunnit, who is it?
Join us for 90 min as we create a world full of eccentric characters thrust together by peculiar circumstances, where not everyone will make it out alive. As the audience, you will wield the power to elect the host and cast your clandestine vote to unveil the murderer and their chosen weapon. Guided by an amateur detective, you will be immersed in a labyrinth of improvisation, where clues and red herrings intersect, revealing dark secrets lurking beneath the surface.
From the classic question of "Did the butler do it?" to uncovering hidden motives, prepare for chaos, comedy, and endless speculation. This is guaranteed to be an unforgettable evening of suspense and laughter, where solving the ultimate mystery is in your hands. Can you crack the case and reveal "Whodunit?"

Saturday 13 April- Style Rollercoaster Improguise goes crazy with a Style Rollercoaster, an improvised rollercoaster ride through film, theatre TV and musical styles. You the audience help us compile a massive list of your most favourite styles and we will be challenged to do as many as possible during the hour and a bit long improvised show. Think whimsical silent movie, 80s cop drama, Scandinavian thriller, b- grade sci-fi, Gothic horror, natural disaster movie, 50s musical. The possibilities are as endless as your imagination. This is an exhilarating night full of highs and lows where the boundaries of storytelling are really pushed to their limits.
