ABOUT
You are invited to join us for a Potjie dinner and a Sokkie dance in a small and intimate venue in Glencairn.
We would like bring some new friends together and will be offering a 3 tier event.
For those who need a brush up or have a partner who is new to sokkie a short basic group lesson will be provided from 18h30 -19h30.
At 19h we will be serving an informal style Lamb Potjie with bread. Please note it is not sit down, you will have a chair and your lap and a Spoon.
For those who want to just dance the floor will be open from 19h30 -21h30 with classic Sokkie treffers Play list to loosen the joints.
The venue is a quaint hall at the scouts camp and therefore does not lend itself to high Alcohol usage as children might be in the neighbouring camp ground. Guests are welcome to bring their own cooler box with drinks, ice and glasses. Please note no Spirits will be permitted.
There is parking at the venue, follow the balloons.
Please report to the front door to receive your name tag.
We look forward to spending a night twirling around with you.
No children or pets allowed just yet as it is an open farm and venturing off from the hall is not allowed.
