Support Grieving Child's Farewell for Mom

Through this platform, we humbly appeal to your kindness and compassion. We bring forth a plea that carries immense weight and urgency, on behalf of a child who is part of Valhalla Park community that El Roi Rescue Mission serve, which form part of our community support and care.

This young boy, aged 11, residing in Valhalla Park, has tragically lost his mother in a devastating car accident. She was living on the streets, and her life was cut short when she was struck by a car last week.

 As we gather the shattered pieces of this child's world, we are confronted with the stark reality that he and his father are ill-equipped to provide a dignified farewell for his beloved mother. The financial burden of a funeral service is overwhelming, and they simply do not have the means to bear this responsibility alone.

Today, we implore your kindness, compassion, and generosity to help us alleviate the financial burden and ensure that this grieving child's mother receives the farewell she deserves. We have been approached by the child's father, who called us seeking assistance with the funeral costs and other necessary arrangements. Together, we can provide solace in the face of immense loss and show this family that they are not alone.
