My name is Mark Sham. I am an entrepreneur, author and speaker. I am hosting a really cool event in May and the topic is centered around how to create a side hustle. This will be a FREE in-person event but there is also a streaming option which will be charged for if you don't live in Joburg, or South Africa.
WHY AM I HOSTING THIS EVENT AND WHY WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO START A SIDE HUSTLE?
When you look at where economies are around the world, when you consider rising inflation, and when you look at the high levels of unemployment, it's clear that the average person can't just sit around and do nothing. This is a topic that is close to my heart and I want to share everything I've learnt from my entrepreneurship journey with all of you.
You should attend this event if the following applies to you:
- Either you have a full-time job which you love but because of the crazy economic conditions we find ourselves in, you want to make a bit of extra cash on the side
- You have a full-time job and you ultimately want to start your own business, but you don't want to make the massive leap immediately. You feel like you would rather test your ideas on the side and create a more smooth transition into going on your own.
- You already have a startup and you'd like some extra advice while also meeting up with people who are in a similar boat to you.
This event is all about me sharing my best tips and tricks when it comes to starting a side hustle. This isn't just about some of the ideas you start working on, but also about the psychology of starting a side hustle. It's about what you need to know before you start, and how to prepare mentally and emotionally for what's ahead of you as you embark on what can often turn into a daunting venture. You will also get to meet and interact with others that are in the same boat as you.
