Join us on Tuesday the 14th of Feb for a journey of seasonal flavours at this unique dining experience created by award winning chef Dylan Laity, hosted at the beautiful Veld and Sea Glasshouse in Cape Point. This multi course menu highlights some of chef Dylan’s most loved flavours, and the space will be decorated with flowers, candles, fairy lights and moments of magic and adventure. We would be delighted to have you join us this Valentine’s Day!

Menu:

Welcome snack:

Oyster with sparkling wine granite and sour cream.

1st course:

Fynbos wrapped yellowtail seared over the coals, Asian dressing, avocado, sesame, garden herbs and crispy fried onions.

2nd course :

Rice fried Salmon Trout, brown butter, Garum, naartjies, wild mint and toasted hazelnuts

3rd course :

Duck in 2 shows -

Spiced Breast with Red cabbage sauce, smoked apple and parsnip purée .

Crispy Duck pancake with plum sauce , spring onion and coriander

4th course:

White chocolate panna cotta, rose and red berry jellies, butter chocolate crunch, coconut meringue kisses

Vegetarian option :

Welcome snack

Artichoke and truffle pate with Melba toast dippers

1 course:

Saffron risotto w glazed beets, green asparagus, wild rocket and tomato rasins

2nd course:

Cauliflower study - Caramelised cauliflower, yeast, pickled grapes, capers ,mint and Pernod vinaigrette

3rd course:

Glazed heritage carrots with chermoula, carrot and cashew purée, gremolata and herb salad

4th course:

White chocolate panna cotta, rose and red berry jellies, butter chocolate crunch, coconut meringue kisses

A complimentary glass of bubbles will be served on arrival, you are welcome to bring your own drink of choice to enjoy with the meal. Seats are limited.
