The IIE's Varsity College Nelson Mandela Bay O'Week

ABOUT

O'Week (Orientation Week) gives students a look at what they can expect as a student at The IIE's Varsity College and introduces students to a student experience.

O'Week takes place throughout the week of Monday, 20 February - Friday, 24 February 2023 with daily activities. The programme for the week entails:

• 20 Feb from 08h00 - 13h00: Freshers Games @ Old Grey Club in Lennox Street, Glendinningvale (Ice-breakers, teambuilding activities, games, inflatable fun etc.)
• 20 Feb from 17h00 for 17h30 - 19h00: Opening Address (Campus Head addresses 1st year students and parents/guardians) - Fathers' House Church, 30 Paterson Road, North End
• 21 Feb from 08h00 - 13h00: Freshers Games @ Old Grey Club in Lennox Street, Glendinningvale (Ice-breakers, teambuilding activities, games, inflatable fun etc.)
• 22 Feb from 09h00 - 12h30: Campus Experience Day @ The IIE's Varsity College
• 23 Feb from 08h00 - 13h00: Beach Day (taking place at Happy Valley beach area - under the bridge in Summerstrand)
• 24 Feb from 09h00 - 13h00: Campus Experience Day @ The IIE's Varsity College
• 24 Feb from 20h00 - 02h00: End of O'Week Party @ LaCoco at 76 Cape Road, Mill Park - close to Five-Ways

A full week of activities indeed.

Please note - Very important:

• When making payment, please use correct name and surname when completing ticket information.
• Please bring along your ticket and proof of ID as this gains you entry into all the activities for the week.
• Transport has been arranged for Freshers Games as well as the Beach Day ONLY. Busses will collect students at The IIE's Varsity College and transport students to the locations indicated above and return to campus thereafter.
• Should you require transport please indicate on the ticket booking platform.
• NOTE: All other programme items, transport is NOT arranged.
