Mum-z is one of the most awarded comedians in South Africa (4 SAFTA awards, 2 International Emmy nominations, Champion of English Comedy in Moscow, Graca Comedy Showdown Winner, WITS Raps Festival Winner and SA’s Got Talent Semi Finalist) and one of the biggest comedy promoters in South Africa having created brands like The Cape Town Comedy Strip, Giggle Gaggle Comedy Festival, Funny Bones Comedy Club, M&A Comedy Nights, Bay Harbour Comedy Nights, Beerhouse Comedy Nights, Comedy On Long and The Hussle.

Born in Soweto and raised in Sandton, but now living in Cape Town, Mum-z has an undeniably engaging stage presence, thought provoking content and a fresh and original take on the topics he addresses. With 15 years experience in stand up comedy, Mum-z is not just a “fly by night” entertainer.

He has performed with SA comedy legends such as Trevor Noah, Loyiso Gola, John Vlismas, Joe Parker, Kagiso Lediga and more.
