With only 85 days to go before Christmas, why not visit the Glenshiel Christmas Fair to do all your Shopping?
It’s the way all shopping should be done! Nestled in the beautiful gardens of the Glenshiel Estate in Westcliff – More than 80 small business owners will be setting up shop to highlight their carefully chosen wares just for you. Travelling from as far afield as the Cape and Natal Midlands, they’ll be offering Jozi residents some of the most stylish and ‘on-trend’ products only seen on the pages of local style and fashion magazines.
Luxury offerings include beautifully crafted bags, accessories, and clothing, jewellery and scarves. Gorgeous linens, home décor, bespoke stationery as well as handcrafted Christmas decorations, cakes and cookies. Why not meet up with family and friends for a bite to eat? Our food vendors will be serving up delicious treats for every taste.
The Glenshiel Christmas Fair is not your ‘everyday market’ and it’s not just about shopping. There is an enormous ‘feel good’ factor in your visit. All profits will go towards the work of the Order of St John (NPO 000-814) to further their eye care and community health care projects and partnerships. Last year, support of this event raised sufficient funds to convert a vehicle from our fleet of ambulances into a mobile eye clinic which can visit those communities who do not have access to affordable, professional eye care services – it will be there during this year’s fair, so pop in to see it. Please buy a raffle ticket or more to support this vital initiative and you could win one of many hampers of amazing prizes donated by our stall holders.
The Fair will be open between 9am and 6pm on October 27th, 28th and 29th. Opening times on Sunday 30th October are from 9am to 4pm. For those of you who take your shopping seriously, we’ll be hosting the Gala Preview Evening on Wednesday 26th October between 5pm and 9pm, where you can shop under the stars. Tickets for the Preview Evening are available separately online.
Street parking is available but limited, so please consider taking an UBER or BOLT – A no parking, no fuss, shop and go solution!
