ABOUT

In this talk, Maarten Lambrechts will share some of his mapping work. He'll talk about the design decisions that went into the maps, the data behind them, and the technology used to produce them. You'll hear about shapefiles, rasters, QGIS, Mapbox, D3.js, labelling, map projections and more!

afrimapr’s monthly virtual meetups aim to support the development of an active African R mapping community. It offers you a chance to learn about new resources, ask questions, showcase your work, and grow your R mapping network.

Come along and say “Hello!” No preparation or experience with R or mapping needed!
