Bach: Sonatas and Suites for cello and piano
Join us for an evening of works by J.S. Bach, Played by Carel Henn and Tinus Botha. Carel will open the concert with the third solo cello suite by Bach, and Tinus will follow with the 6th French Suite for keyboard (piano, in this case). After a short interval, they will join forces and play the second and third sonatas for viola da gamba and keyboard. For lovers of the Baroque in general, and Bach in particular, this promises to be a most enjoyable evening.

Sluit gerus by ons aan vir ‘n aand van musiek deur J.S. Bach, gespeel deur Carel Henn en Tinus Botha. Carel open die konsert met die derde suite vir solo-tjello, en Tinus volg met die sesde Franse Suite vir klawerbord. Na ‘n kort pouse, span hulle kragte saam om die tweede en derde sonates vir Gamba en klawerbord te speel. Vir liefhebbers van Barokmusiek, en veral Bach, beloof hierdie om ‘n besonderse aand te wees.
