ABOUT

Join INSTOPP and Adeena Wisenthal for an interactive online webinar on Cognitive Work Hardening (Essentials course)

Adeena Wisenthal’s bridge2work™ cognitive work hardening (CWH) programme for return-to-work preparation was pioneered in 2000 and rigorously studied by Adeena during her doctoral studies with research findings providing support for its effectiveness as a return-to-work intervention.

The CWH Foundational Module allowed attendees to gain a general understanding of CWH and where it fits in the return-to-work process in the mental health domain. This has been a pre-requisite for this in depth CWH Essentials training which provides practitioners with the skills needed to offer CWH as a return-to-work intervention leading to enhanced treatment outcomes and a new revenue stream.

The 4-part series of Essential Modules are tailored to occupational therapists seeking a deeper understanding of and practical training in CWH. These modules facilitate enhanced research utilization by occupational therapists and integration of research into clinical practice. Attendees will obtain the tools needed to apply CWH in real settings and will learn practical skills to implement CWH to address clients’ RTW needs.

Attendees who complete the series benefit from support that extends beyond the modules through a CWH community established in a private Facebook page with access to CWH resources; information sessions, and optional coaching at preferred rates.
