Hotbox Party was established in 2015 and has been providing the unique sounds of Reggae, Dancehall and Afrobeats to urban music lovers at safe and popping venues across central Johannesburg ever since. Starting from October 1st 2021, we present you Hotbox Fridays at Xavier Maboneng, a monthly party celebrating the infectious energy and diversity of Caribbean and African dance music with some of the best DJ’s in the city.

Teedo Love is an award winning DJ and household name in many of Jozi’s finest clubs. The heart and brain behind Hotbox party, her mixes are known for never missing beat.

Nick Widmer is a Swiss born visual artist and DJ who has found a new home in Jozi and has been selecting Reggae and Dancehall for the past 20 years.

Xavier Maboneng is a meeting place for beautiful humans.
