Succulent Pot Planter Workshop

Make a geometric pot for a succulent plant

Beginners welcome.

What to bring:

An Apron. Clay and colors wash out easily.

Ideas.

Visit Pinterest and come with some sketches and ideas to give yourself a starting point design style or color scheme.

A lunch if you need it. Roots farm Shoppe has a lovely wholesome menu if you get peckish.

Hand-building ceramic pots is a very rewarding and calming activity. Moulding soft clay into your very own creation. Participants will each create and decorate a pot to your liking using decorating slip and underglazes. We will bisque fire your pots when they are completely dry which can take a week in wet weather. thereafter we will glaze fire your pots to create a stoneware vessel that can withstand heat, all weather, water and obviously plants. We will provide a small succulent to plant in your pot.
