Come join us as we close off youth month with a poignant retelling of the events of June 16 1976 through Sifiso Khanyile's film UPRIZE. The film explores the political and social landscape of the 70s, leading to the protests of that fatal day of June 16. The film uses in-depth interviews with various participants of the resistance movement as well rare and unseen archive footage from the '70s and that fateful day in particular.
