Painting in the park 6 ~ "Transform the old into new!"

Sun Sep 5, 09:30 - Sun Sep 5, 14:30

Pretoria Botanical gardens

ABOUT

Join us for an activating in-person creative painting workshop. Allow the butterfly to remind you how to transform the old, into new, with grace and ease!

Sometimes what seems like chaos is actually the breaking apart of an old pattern, and the birth of something new! The butterfly does not look back at the caterpillar in shame, just as you should not look back at your past in shame. Your past is part of your own transformation!

In this creative painting workshop we will explore how aspects of our past can be transformed through forgiveness and acceptance. Master the "butterfly effect" by rising above the old life, and launch yourself as a new being through faith and intention... Just like the caterpillar trusts the cocoon, and surrender to it's total transformation, so too does stepping beyond shame and hurt of your past take an act of faith.

Allow the paintbrush to be your guide through your own transformation at the canvas of your soul!

My name is Gideon Busquét-Craucamp Aka "Gideonslight" and my co-host is Arnaud Busquèt-Craucamp AKA "OtterlyArnaud". We are both Creatively Fit Coaches, and we are excited to assist you today to Activate your Creative HeART through playful expression at the canvas!

This Painting in the park workshop will happen on Sunday 5th of September at 09h30 to 14h30 in the Botanical gardens of Pretoria.

*Creative coaching is a form of life coaching that helps people develop their creative skills and work through any barriers holding them back in their life.

The canvas serves as the metaphor that helps you to identify limiting beliefs and or attitudes that is counter productive to achieving your highest goals and ideals.

Although painting is involved, no previous art experience or skills are required to participate in a class, or to benefit from the insight that can be gained through this experiential personal growth journey.

*All art materials for the class are included in the fee (except for your entrance fee at the gate) including: 1x canvas board, acrylic paint, brushes, water container, paper towels, chalk & disposable palette. (Please return brushes after the class!)

*If you do have your own portable easil please bring it with. Otherwise most people paint on the ground by propping the canvas up at an angle with a towel.

*If you have Acrylic paint and brushes you prefer to paint with, feel free to bring your supplies along.

*PLEASE NOTE: This class is not designed for children, however they are welcome but your parental supervision will be required at all times and your children should not be a distraction to other participants. If they are going to paint along it will be full price for each individual attending the class. Ideal minimum age for participants 13 years and older, as long as at least one parent participate in the class.

* Classes are kept small. Only 10 tickets per event. Please keep a minimum of 2m social distancing at all times. You will be required to wear a Covid-19 face mask and you must sanitize your hands each time you leave and return to the class.

* Class start at 09h30 to 14h30. Please be at the gate by 09h15 to ensure we can start at 9h30am.

* All classes are weather dependent and a full refund will be given if classes have to be cancelled due to extreme weather, rain or unforseen circumstances. Please dress according to weather. Park can be cold in the morning air.

* If you don't show up for the class for what ever reason, or if you do not complete the class, there will be no refund. If you are unable to attend due to illness or testing positive for Covid-19, please stay at home.
